November 2013
The first Priest

The first Evangelical Priest ordained for Ghana was around November, 2013

Missions

Many medical and spiritual mission came to Ghanan from 2013 till now.

2018

From 2018 till now we have 4 medical missions and 3 spiritual missions which served the church communities for outreached programs in cape-coast, Battor and Accra. The team is growing, helping the missions and supporting the country's priests and resident.

  1.  2 Holy Masses in a week (Sunday & Saturday)

  3.  Bible study  (Sunday)
  4.  Spiritual meeting (Thursday)
  5.  Market preaching and home visitation (Friday)
  • Saint George Coptic orthodox church Hobor, Accra
  1.  A holy mass and home visitation (Wednesday) 
  2.  Catechism class (Sunday evening)
  • Saint Moses Coptic orthodox church, Battor-Volta region 
  1.  Catechism class (Tuesday)
  2.  We have started a church building which will finish around March 2021

We had 4 missions to Ghana from June 2018, all of them were totally medical services, where our servant doctors in the following specialties:

  • Pediatrics
  • Cardiology
  • Dentist 
  • Dermatologist
  • Ophthalmologist

The outcome of these Medical Missions:

  • We made investigation and treated about 5000 persons. 

Educational Service

  • We are preparing a building to start by September 2021  a nursery school at Saint George Coptic orthodox church, Hobor.
  • We trained 3 local teachers to be qualified to teach in this school.
